Oak – English (QUERCUS robur) –

The standard English oak shows a strongly grained trunk and distinctive short-stalked, muliple-lobed LEAVES which begin out as brilliant inexperienced turning into prgressivly darker and finally a bronze-brown in autumn.

STYLE : Finest suited to medium/giant measurement specimens in casual upright, slanting, twin trunk and group types.

WARNING: Oak is especially weak to MILDEW. Spray repeatedly with FUNGICIDE.

Care Data

Oak – English (QUERCUS robur) –

REPOT : Yearly till 10 years outdated and fewer continuously, as required, for older, bigger bushes.

SOIL : Free draining soil : 40:60 GRIT:natural.

PRUNE : Department prune winter/early spring.

PINCH : Pinch new SHOOTS to 1 or 2 LEAVES in early summer time. Take away bigger leaves to encourage leaf measurement discount.

WATER : Water properly in rising season, sparingly in winter.

FEED : Each 2 weeks after leaves have emerged till late summer time.
